MSNBC Morning Joe gabber Willie Geist made a gaffe big enough to make co-host Mika Brzezinski cringe on-air this morning, after he alleged Miss Puerto Rico Ingrid Marie Rivera may be lying about her gown having been pepper-sprayed during a recent pageant competition. Problem was, Brzezinski was scheduled to interview Rivera on her own program live on-air within minutes. Geist seemed genuinely surprised after Brzezinski’s harsh reaction, and he quickly backtracked, saying that no one believes those rumors anyway.
